Self-Love Starts Here: Reflecting on a Year of Confidence

As the year comes to a close, I’ve been taking a deep breath and reflecting on everything that’s unfolded — in my life, in my business, and in the quiet spaces in between.

2025 wasn’t about rushing forward or filling every month with sessions. It was a year of learning, building, and preparing — a season of growth behind the scenes that reminded me sometimes stepping back is exactly what we need to move forward with intention.

A Year of Reflection and Growth

This year, I photographed one beautiful client in her own home — a destination session that perfectly reflected what I love most about boudoir: creating something deeply personal, authentic, and full of heart. That experience reminded me why I started this journey in the first place — to celebrate women in every chapter of their story, wherever they are.

But most of my growth this year happened off-camera. I refined my systems, updated my client experience, and made a major shift in how I serve my clients. I’ve fully transitioned into a full-service photographer, focusing on heirloom products and artwork that tell your story in a tangible, lasting way — not just digital files that live on a screen.

This shift has allowed me to pour even more love into the process — from our first consultation to the moment you hold your finished album or see your wall art for the first time. It’s not just about photographs anymore; it’s about creating something meaningful that you’ll cherish for years to come.

Stepping Back to Step Forward

If there’s one thing I’ve learned this year, it’s that slowing down isn’t failure — it’s foundation.
Taking a step back gave me the space to dream, to create, and to build a business that truly reflects my heart.

Sometimes growth doesn’t look like a packed calendar. It looks like quiet planning, refining, and trusting that the seeds you’re planting will bloom in their own time.

And bloom they will.

2026 is already shaping up to be a year of momentum and expansion. I’ll be hosting a model call early in the year and planning special events and creative projects that I can’t wait to share with my Boudoir Lounge ladies. I’ll also be traveling again for destination sessions, capturing confidence and connection in beautiful, natural settings.

Each new opportunity will build on the foundation this year has laid — full-service luxury experiences, beautiful printed artwork, and a deeper connection with every woman who steps in front of my lens.
